(주)엘렉시가 과학기술정보통신부가 주도하고 한국데이터산업진흥원이 주관하는 ‘데이터바우처 지원사업’의 공식 데이터 판매·가공 기업으로 선정되었습니다.
‘데이터바우처 지원사업’은 데이터 경제 활성화를 위해 추진되는 정부 육성 사업으로, ‘데이터스토어’를 매개로 데이터가 안전하고 활발하게 유통될 수 있도록 데이터 소유 기업에는 데이터 판로를 열어주고, 데이터 활용이 필요한 기업에게는 구매 비용을 지원하는 프로그램입니다.
데이터 가공기업은 표준 데이터 또는 수요기업의 이용목적에 맞는 맞춤형 데이터 가공 서비스를 제공하며, 수요 기업은 소요되는 비용 중 인공지능 전문 분야 기준 1개社 당 7,000만원 한도로 정부에게 바우처 형태로 지원 받을 수 있습니다.
지난 2016년부터 딥러닝 기반의 이상패턴 감지솔루션을 개발, 판매하고 있는 엘렉시는 그동안 파수닷컴, 포스코 ICT, LG전자 등과의 다양한 협업 경험을 가지고 있으며 이외 과기부, 산자부 등 다수의 정부과제를 진행하고 있습니다.
엘렉시 서장원 대표는 “이번 사업을 통해 비용문제로 힘든 스타트업이 정부의 지원을 받아 고품질의 학습용 데이터로 다양한 인공지능 연구, 개발이 활성화 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했습니다.
Ellexi joins the ‘Data Voucher Program’
Ellexi has been officially selected as a data processing and sales service company by ‘Data Voucher Program’ lead by ‘Ministry of Science, Technology and Information’ and ‘Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency’.
'Data Voucher Program' is a government lead business promotion & development program to vitalize data economy by offering a ‘data store’ to ensure safe and active distribution of the data. Data sellers and buyers selected by this program is eligible for government grant in a form of voucher, which can be used in ‘data store’ to purchase / process / sell the data. This grant (Voucher) is up to $70,000 US per project, which will not only significantly cut down the cost burdens for the companies that need a customized data for their businesses but minimize the risks that sellers might face during data processing/selling as well.
Ellexi has been developing and selling Deep-learning based anomaly pattern detection solutions since 2016, has number of data processing experiences Fasoo.com, POSCO ICT, and LG Electronics. Also, currently carrying out government projects with ‘Ministry of Science and ICT’, ‘Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy’.
"I am expecting that ‘Data Voucher Program’ will bring Small and medium sized companies (start-up, labs) an access to high-quality data without considering cost problems” says Ellexi’s CEO Dr. Suh, “This program will definitely activate various forms of artificial intelligence research and development projects.”
